Everyone has a routine that they have to do when they serve a volleyball; spin the ball x amount of times, bounce it x amount of times, go as quickly as possible, take a few calming breaths, etc. What I do is, take a few calming breaths, spin the ball in my hand, and during serving I drag my right foot. We practiced yesterday and I didn’t think my foot was ready to get drug so I opted out. This turned out to be very bad. The ball went way into a different court…
It was still super awesome to get my foot walking around on sand that massaged it and attempt to play a little bit. It swelled quite largely at the end of the day but I think the work out was good for it. It’s not going to get any better if I do not push myself.
Two more months til the all day tournament! I hope I will be ready by then!
